With very short life

Although the kits were good I received my order at the end of March and the kits went out of date at the end of March not very good when paying full price

I really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, and I wanted to follow up again as we hadn’t heard back from our original message to you.

We were sorry to hear you were disappointed with the short dates on your kits—and we completely understand where you're coming from. As mentioned in our first note, we did pop £10 of store credit into your account as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation for your feedback.

Just to explain again, our flavour kits are made with dry spices, which are naturally shelf-stable. The dates printed on the back are best-before, not use-by, which means the spices are still perfectly safe and delicious after that point. Infact the coconut milk would be stable for another 6 months. We never send anything that’s not in good condition or that we wouldn’t be happy to eat ourselves.

We also try really hard to avoid food waste—something that’s a huge issue in the food industry—and that means we sometimes send products with shorter dates that are still perfectly good.

We absolutely respect your right to share your experience, but we do wish we’d had the chance to resolve it properly with you directly. A 1-star review has a big impact on a small business like ours, especially when we’ve done our best to respond, explain, and make it right.

Thanks again for giving our kits a try—we really hope you'll give us another shot one day.
